Every service here is rooted in intention, Korean ritual philosophy, and the belief that your hair appointment is more than a transaction. We don't just cut or color, we read, assess, and ceremony-build around your specific hair, scalp, and energy. You won't be rushed. You won't be treated like a slot on a calendar. 

A scalp reading is the practice of assessing your scalp's condition its oil balance, sensitivity, tension patterns, and overall health before any service begins. Rooted in Korean tradition, it allows us to understand the root (literally) before addressing the strand. Healthy hair begins at the scalp. 

The Light Ritual draws from the philosophy of hanji, a Korean mulberry paper, which is valued for its luminous, translucent quality. It is a brightening ceremony, yes, but approached botanically and with intention around placement, tone, and how light moves through your specific hair. It is not a standard highlight service. 

The Wind Ritual is a restorative treatment and can be added to any service or booked on its own. For regularly colored or heat-styled hair, we recommend every 4-6 weeks. For severely compromised hair, more frequently at first. We'll advise you during your visit.

We are intentional about every product that touches your hair and scalp. We curate our offerings around performance and integrity, meaning we do not use products that contradict the philosophy of care we practice here. We are happy to discuss specific sensitivities or concerns at your consultation. 

Yes. The scalp massage can be added to any ritual or booked independently as a stand-alone restorative experience. It is deeply relaxing, improves circulation, and supports overall scalp and hair health. Many clients return for this alone. 

If your hair has been colored at home, over-processed, turned an unintended shade, or if you're carrying brassiness, uneven tones, or color that simply doesn't match your intention - corrective color is your path forward. When in doubt, book a consultation and we will read your hair together. Add an answer to this item.

Honestly, sometimes yes, sometimes no. It depends entirely on your hair's current state, its history, and where we're going. We will never compromise the health of your hair to rush a result. Some journeys take one session, others two or three sessions. We'll map it out together at your consultation so there are no surprises.

Yes. This Ritual always begins with a consultation. This protects your hair and ensures we have the right time, products, and plan reserved for you.

Most corrective sessions run between 3 and 6 hours depending on the complexity. We ask that you come with no time pressure. This is ceremony, it cannot be rushed. 

Bring photos of what you're moving away from and what you're moving toward. Come with patience, intention, and trust the process.
